Manager explains 11 year old girl's controversial post that embarrassed Jalango

The little girl has performed for different head of states; among them Uhuru, Kagame, Mahama and Museveni.

Mzee Jalas Mwenyewe (Jalango)

The 11-year-old who is an acrobat and standard seven pupil at Daima Primary had accused Jalango of being a con after failing to pay her Sh4500.

Waeni’s manager Joe Mwangi has introduced a new twist to the controversial post that has left social media on fire claiming there is a malicious attack being directed at the little Wendy Waeni.

According to Mwangi, Jalango lied to the public by denying to pay the little Waeni Sh4500 an amount they had agreed when they attended his show Jalango with the Money.

He added that Jalas is contradicting himself by denying that there was no such an agreement on one platform and agreeing on another.

“No Kenyan artist made Wendy who she is so they should stop pretending to “care” about her future. Now he contradicts himself by admitting there was an agreement of 10k. Why now?” said Mwangi.

Through a press statement Wendy’s manager reveals that Jalango’s former Producer Milly Chebby agreed that there was an agreement but it was not honored.

“On this matter, we feel one Felix owes Wendy Waeni and the entire social media family for lying” read part of the statement.

The statement goes on to demand an apology from the famous media personality Chris Kirwa on his early comment that she had referred to Wendy as a poor Child. The manager terms the statement as disrespectful bearing in mind that the two are close friends.

“Wendy Waeni’s family has noted deeply an abusive post made by one Chris Kirwa who is a respected personality and who upto date is a close friend to Wendy Waeni, he referred Wendy Waeni to as a “POOR CHILD” and as a family we feel this was a total abusive and disrespectful to Wendy Waeni. We therefore request Chris Kirwa to make an apology on the same platform he used.”

The manager went ahead to address Wendy’s future saying the little girl has three accounts and therefore those concered about her future should not worry.

“The whole thing in question is about Wendys future, yes Wendy has bank accounts (3 for Ksh and 1 dollar account that she will only access when she is 18 years old). We really find it malicious that people can judge that we simply don’t mind about Wendy’s future.”

The Wendy Waeni will be heading to England for a tour this this weekend.
