Sheila Kwamboka quits Homeboyz Radio after 7 years

Popular Homeboyz radio presenter Sheila Kwamboka popularly known as Kwambox has called it quits from the radio station, after seven years.

In a statement on Twitter, Kwambox announced that Friday afternoon was her last show on the station.

She went on to say that she will miss her fans and colleagues at Homeboyz as he thanked the station’s management for believing in her and giving her a chance to run the afternoon drive show.

She however did not disclose where she will be heading to next.

After 7 years co-hosting afternoon drive show on @HomeboyzRadio, today is my last show on the station. I will miss all my listeners, colleagues, my co-hosts who made it all worth it @mikewachira @MrKerryMartin and most importantly @JohnHBR for the opportunity. I am fully grateful,” she wrote.

The former Big Brother Africa Kenya representative co-hosted the Ignition Drive show on HBR alongside Mike Wachira and Kerry Martin.

She has also been a popular face on Kenyan TV screens where she has been appearing as a panelist to discuss various issues that affect young people in the society.
