Reports indicated that Kingzilla passed on, on Tuesday night after a short illness at their home in Salasala, Dar es Salaam.
His body was taken to Lugalo mortuary.

In 2010 and 2011 was on stage at Serengeti fiesta sharing the platform with Ludacris. In 2012 he hit the same stage with Rick Ross who had graced the grand finale of Tigo Fiesta.

His death comes days after another Veteran Tanzanian Actress Salome Nongwe aka Mama Abdul, died following a short illness.
She was later laid to rest on January 28, 2019, in Chang’ombe, Dar es Salaam.
