The MC shared a tentative poster for the movie project called "Boyz Are Not Smiling".

The title of the movie is based off the popular rap slogan he came up with years ago in his music.

The movie will be produced in conjunction with Nollywood director Imoh Umoren who directed "Happyness Unlimited" starring Tope Tedela.

Speaking exclusively to Pulse on the project, Terry Tha Rapman said:

"This movie idea has been with me for a while. This is however the right time to work on it.

"The Boyz Are Not Smiling will be about my origins as a rapper from Jos and my journey into the entertainment business in Lagos.

"You can call it my biopic, sort of like 8 Mile."

Terry Tha Rapman didn't reveal when principal photography would start on the movie but he told Pulse Movies it would be "pretty soon."

This is not his first sojourn into Nollywood.

Terry Tha Rapman has starred in two movies, "Alan Poza" and "Caught In The Middle".

He starred as himself in the Charles Novia directed movies.
