Details have emerged on an unexpected incident that happened to slain Tycoon Tob Cohen’s wife Sarah Wairimu minutes after his burial.

In a report by Standard, the burial that was supposed to be a private affair attracted a crowd that gathered outside the Jewish Cemetery along Wangari Maathai Road.
The report said that Prison officers who had accompanied Wairimu to the burial grew impatient and could not wait for the burial to complete as the impatient crowd tried to make its way into the cemetery.
As she was being driven back to Lang’ata Women’s Prison, the irate crowd outside the cemetery hurled stones at the car she was in.
Wairimu was allowed to address mourners who had gathered to pay their last respects to slain Cohen and said that she hoped her husband would find justice.
She was accompanied by her lawyer Philip Murgor and prison officers who escorted her in line with a special court order allowing her to attend the burial.
Cohen’s burial took place on Tuesday in a ceremony attended by high-profile guests.
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s first cousins Ngengi Muigai and Captain Kung’u Muigai were also in attendance, as well as Nyeri Transport CEC Muthui Kariuki, among others.
