Former Inooro FM presenter, Waithira Muithirania, has lost her younger sister.

The former radio host cum politician revealed that her sister passed on early last week taking to her social media to make the announcement.

“My younger sister Irene Wamaitha earlier this week passed away. Words cannot express my sadness. A sister who I truly loved, regarded her as my best friend. She is no more. I believe it’s God’s plans and always the right plans. We are all on the journey. Let’s always remain faithful and grateful to the living God. For the gift of life he has given us. Rest in eternal peace lil siz,” she posted.

The cause of her sister's death is unknown.
