Bongo actress claps back at body-shamers with classy response

Wema’s body shape has been a subject of discussion since she flaunted it in a blue dress after Diamond praised it in a song.

Some critics claimed that Wema’s body was not real and that she had enhanced it for the cameras. Tired of the salty remarks, Wema decided to address her critics with this post:

Shepu ya mwendokasi... Ndo niliojaliwa nayo... Kama imeanzia kiunoni kwenda magotini ndo niliojaliwa nayo... Kama wewe hauna basi mshukuru Allah... Ndo nilivyoumbwa jamani... Sio mimi bali ni Maulana ndo alionibariki nayo... Hata ingekuwa kwanzia kichwa hadi Vidole vya miguuni ni sawa pia... Ndo niliojaliwa nayo.... Sometimes najiangalia kwenye kioo sijimalizi... Ndo majaliwa yangu... Ndo yangu basi... Imenizidia... Allah Subhanah wataallah ndo amenipa... Aaaah....!? Sio shepu ya kawaida... Niacheni na Shepu yangu jamani... Ndo nishaimiliki mie... Siwezi kuitoa.... ( The shape of a transit bus is what I have been blessed with. If it has started from my waist to my knees it is what I was born with. If you don't have a figure like mine, thank God for what you have because this is the way I was created. Even if I was straight from my head to my toes, I would still be okay because that is what I was born with. When I look at myself in the mirror I don’t put down myself because this is my God-given body. I know that my body shape is not the standard body shape so leave me alone as I have owned it and I cannot get rid of it.))
