According to eDaily, the mother of two was arrested and charged for driving without a valid license, causing obstruction and dangerously overtaking other vehicles, which is contrary to Section 30(1) as read with Section 37(1) of the Traffic Act Cap 403 Laws of Kenya.

Wahu was accused of having committed the three offenses on Wednesday, on Ring Road, Kileleshwa.
The local daily reported that The Power Power singer pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on a Sh15, 000 cash bail.
