South Africa based Ugandan socialite and business woman Zari Hassan has come out to refute claims that her late ex-husband Ivan Don Ssemwanga made her who she is.

This was after the Boss Lady shared a post saying she wanted to be a rich wife and went on to encourage hard working women, saying that they can be successful.

“While you’re looking for rich husbands, I wanna be a rich wife. #MondayMotivation to all my hustler ladies out there tryna make it in a male dominated world. We can do,” wrote Zari.

An Instagram follower by the name Jeddy Marto then responded to Zari’s post saying that all said and done, her late ex-husband was the underwriter of her wealth.

“But after all said and done Don (R.i.p) is still the sponsor of your wealth. But I like the way you have kept up his legacy. #RESPECT,” said Jeddy.

Zari's response

The mother of five then responded to the fan saying that she hustled together with her late ex-husband to be where they were in life.

She added that everyone played their role in making their big dreams a reality and if anything he (Jeddy) should go back and look at their old pictures, when they started out.

“@jeedymarto that’s where y’all get confused. He never made me, we made each other, we equally played the roles because we had big goals, big dreams. Y’all know Ivan after the boys have been born and grown, look back at my throwbacks and you’ll see what I mean,” responded Zari Hassan.

Zari Hassan has five children, three sons with her late ex-husband Ivan Don Ssemwanga and two children with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.
