NASA presidential candidate Raila Odingas wife, Ida Odinga has disclosed that it was his husband who helped nurture DP William Ruto in politics.
Speaking during an interview on NTV, Ida disclosed that the Opposition leader learnt the 'vitendawili' in prison which he later taught Ruto."He learnt those Swahili idioms and sayings while in detention, he told me he read the bible cover to cover," she said. Ida maintained that Ruto should be grateful to the former Prime Minister because of the idioms he learnt from him which he's known to use in politics."Ruto is a product of Raila's making and those 'vitendawili' are what made him," Odinga's wife said.Ida divulged that she had been involved in politics all her adult life and she had to encourage the husband and prepare the family."I am sure this is the time; he has been craving to make Kenya better," she stated.Odinga will be facing President Uhuru Kenyatta in next week's polls after losing to him in 2013.If the recent polls are anything to go by, Kenyans are expecting a tight race between the two.

Both candidates are exuding confidence that they have the numbers to win in the upcoming Election.
