Jubilee candidate Joyce Laboso looks set to clinch the Bomet's gubernatorial seat after opening a wide margin against his competitor Isaac Ruto.

By the time of going to the press, Laboso had garnered 128,590 votes against incumbent Ruto's 61086 votes.

The Preliminary results were from 541 polling station out of 741.

Ruto, who was previously in Jubilee, ditched the ruling coalition and formed Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) before joining NASA.
