Looks like the salon business is quite lucrative nowadays as top Kenyan fashion designer,

Susan Kaittany, her nemesis Betty Kyallo, Wahu Kagwi and Vera Sidika are some of the notable Kenyan celebrities who own hair salons and now, Aulgah Nato has also joined that list. If you’re not familiar with Aulgah, you definitely need to get acquainted with her. The award-winning fashion designer owns a clothing label, Nato Designs that seeks to celebrate women of all body types through outstanding and versatile designs. She has showcased her designs on both local and international runways and also dressed numerous Kenyan celebrities for special occasions. With a impressive career in fashion and design, for Aulgah, it’s on to the next – trying her hand at the salon business.

This past weekend, Aulgah was joined by her friends and family as she launched Tj’s Hair Clinic. The salon, located on Hurlingham Plaza Ground Floor will offer hair, beauty and barber services. The white and gold themed party was hosted by TV girl, Serah Teshna and guests got to enjoy a runway show and lots of bubbly, after all, a party without champagne is just a meeting right?

This year has been phenomenal for Aulgah; from winning awards to showcasing at the Cannes Film Festival, to opening up a new business, this girl is definitely on fire.
