1.Mouth sores

Mouth sores are tiny blisters that form around the mouth and lips. They are caused by the herpes virus are highly contagious.

2.Flu or common cold

A flu or common cold can easily be contracted through kissing. Any contact with the saliva or nasal secretions of someone that has a flu or common cold immediately predisposes someone to getting the disease.

Commonly known as the kissing disease, mononucleosis is spread via saliva when kissing. It is caused by the Epstein-Barr virus and while it is not all that contagious, it can still be contacted via kissing.
