Here are 5 habits that could be making you gain weight even when you're trying to lose it.

An entire avocado contains 322 calories and close to 30 grams of fat. This is already 45% of the recommended daily allowance of fats. Eating too much of avocados can easily lead to weight gain.
2. You nibble a lot
You lie to yourself that nibbling on a friend's fries or taking pieces of cookies won't amount to much in your daily calorie intake. It does.
3. You are too friendly with condiments
Butter, ketchup, mayo all have added sugars or fats that will tweak your diet and lead to weight gain. Always ask for sauces on the side when ordering meals.
4. You are too friendly with alcohol
You think taking alcohol in moderation will help with your weight loss. And to counteract the amount of alcohol consumed in one sitting, you take cocktails instead. But cocktails are made with high calorie drinks such as juice or soda.
5. You're nuts for njugu
Nuts are highly nutritious. They contain vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fiber, protein, and healthy fats. Eating too many of them can easily lead to weight gain.
