1. Shelves

As space consuming as the are, shelves are a must have for everey baby's room. They're great for storing story books, extra diapers and toys. You could even start training your baby on how to put back things after use.

2. Wall stickers

There is no limit as to what you an do with wall stickers. Be it you child's favourite cartoon, numbers or even flowers and and other abstract things, its all going to look great. The idea is to make the room as bright as possible, you  know, just like the cartoons.

3. Carpet and mats

One of the things you have to get used to as a new mom is that babies are clumsy. They're always tripping on their own feet and crawling around the place. Having mats or a good carpet set out will help reduce the amount of bruises from the falling, keeps the floor warm enough for them to play on and adds on immensely on your decor design.

4. Bins

For dirty clothes, used diapers, toys and a whole lot of things you'll pick up to make baby sitting a whole lot easier for your nanny.

5. Toys

Have you ever stepped on a lego? Painful huh?

Toys can be terribly annoying if your baby is leaving them everywhere in the house, but they play a major role in making your baby's room as homey as possible. Take your time select what works for your design.
