9 wedding guest outfits you can wear besides Kitenge (Photos)

You have more options besides the usual Kitenge

There are so many wedding guest outfit options for women but you will find most of us Africans going for the usual kitenge or African print outfit. African prints are great as you can never go wrong with them, however, I like to think that they’re lowkey overrated. If you do not want to wear the cliché Kitenge outfits that everyone and their mother wears to wedding receptions, I have compiled a list of other fashionable items you can wear and still showstop. I must add though that while you can go for these options, it’s important to consider the weather, location of the wedding as well as the wedding dress code which if there’s one, then it’s only fair for you to wear yellow, if the bride wants you to wear yellow…get the drift?

Attending a wedding soon? Give your Kitenge a break and try these dashing outfit options.
