Victoria Kimani's latest photo shoot is straight outta 'Wakanda' (Photos)

The 'Mtoto' hitmaker is currently in the states where she was attending the just concluded New York Fashion Week. While there, she got to attend not just the fashion shows but also hang out with her model friends, Beyonce's stylist Ty Hunter, fellow songstress, Nigeria's Yemi Alade and of course blessed our Intagram timelines with uber amazing photos from her trip to the Big Apple.

Kenyan's really sleep on Victoria. She has the triad that any superstar needs to make it - talent, looks and style. While in the states, she linked up with Kenyan photographer, Lyra Aoko who also happened to be in New York and what happens when a photographer extraordinaire meets up with an artiste? Well, art is made! That's right, Lyra photographed Victoria, in the ultimate cool New Yorker element - hailing the famous Yellow cabs, dressed like she was straight outta Wakanda.

Clad in an African inspired tunic, pantyhoes, paired with Louis Vuitton shoes and a Gucci bag, she effortlessly completed the look with a beret and an African print shawl draped on her shoulder, perhaps as an Ode to Nigeria's 'Ipele' - a fabric draped over the shoulder by Nigeria's Yoruba women to complete a traditional attire or an Aso Ebi attire. The caption that accompanied one of the photos was totally befitting as she said:

"Looking like I just hopped out of “Coming to America”...."

Yup, her outfit definitely takes us down the memory of the Coming To America movie.
