We all know how important breakfast is to our health. It is the meal that gives you the fuel to keep going on with your day’s activities.

More important, however, is what meal you choose to break your fast. While it is very easy to grab the first snack you see for breakfast to avoid getting late for your errands, nutritionists advise that not all meals are good for breakfast.

Some meals that you should never eat for breakfast include:

1. Bananas

Bananas are sweet, healthy and we love them. Unlike other meals that need preparation time, a ripe banana is always ready for consumption. According to nutritionists, eating bananas for breakfast or any other time you are hungry is wrong. It leads to a sharp increase of Magnesium in your body which may affect your heart.

2. Yogurt

Firstly, dairy products are not the best for breakfast as they are likely to dull your day. Also, yogurt contains lactic acid bacteria which is good for your health. However, since your stomach is empty in the morning, the Hydrochloric acid produced by your body kills the good bacteria.

4. Juice

A glass of fruit juice sounds like a good idea for breakfast but it is really not. While natural fruit juice and smoothies are sweet and healthy, avoid them for breakfast. The sugars contained in fruit juice in form of fructose may be an overload for your liver on an empty stomach.

5. White bread
