Recipe Ingredients

3 cups cake flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
4 teaspoons vanilla

  • Recipe Instructions
    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.                                                                                                                2. In a large bowl, beat the sugar and butter until creamy and pale. Add vanilla and mix to    combine
    3. Drop your paper liners into your muffin cups, this recipe makes 24.
    4. Sift together your cake flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
    5. Pour your vinegar into your milk, set aside.
    6. Beat together your butter and sugar in a large bowl, until light and fluffy.
    7. You will have to alternate adding your flour mix and milk to the creamed butter and sugar.
    8. Start with the flour, add a bit, wait until it’s nearly incorporated and add a bit of your milk.
    9. Do this until you end with flour.
    10. Blend until thoroughly combined, about 1 to 2 minutes.
    11. Fill the cupcake liners 2/3 (3 tablespoon) of the way with batter.  Give them some room to rise.
