With the plastic bag ban just three days from taking effect, Kenyans are ditching the collection of plastic bags piled in their kitchens to search for effective alternatives.

Here’s six:

1. Bio Degradable Cassava

These are bags made from starch and cassava are a great alternative as they look exactly like normal plastic bags only they are 100% bio degradable.
