Megan Thee Stallion Just Showed Off Her Toned Abs And Butt In Two New Bikini Instagram Videos

Megan Thee Stallion Shares Two New Bikini Videos
  • Megan Thee Stallion just shared two new bikini Instagram videos, showing off her fit body.
  • In the first, she's twerking with some friends in a pool, which is a major lower body workout.
  • In the second, she's showing off her toned core in a neon string bikini.

Sound the alarms: hot girl summer is back. Even if hot girl summer 2020 is spent inside your apartment or on the couch, it's the state of mind everyone needs to get them through this year. Megan Thee Stallion , meanwhile, is staying cool, twerking in the pool. Oh, and she's doing it all looking fit AF in a cute, bright-colored string bikini.

ICYDK, twerking works a number of muscles in your entire body, but most of the stress is on your lower body, since it's a deep squat with movement. Some of the muscles working in a twerk are the lower back, glutes, quads, and hamstrings, trainer Lauren McIntyre told SELF . (FYI: You might find it easier to twerk in a pool a la Megan because the water is supporting some of your weight, and you won't have to hold a deep squat. As a result, it's also much easier on the knees.)

"I need ya number and thats that @fashionnova on the swim suit," the rapper captioned a second video of her modeling the same string bikiniabs on full display.

Wanna know the full workout routine behind those abs (plus the core muscles powering her twerk)? Turns out, Megan seems to be a fan of the DIY workout. She jogs through the Hollywood Hills and does a LOT of choreography. Recently, she shared a video of weighted squats, except the weight here is a friend riding piggyback.

She also gets her French bulldog, Frenchie, in on the fitness action.

In her interview for the May cover story of Marie Claire , Megan talked about how she deals with the pressure to be perfect as a public figure. "I dont know when it became the trend to be so motherf*cking perfect, but I hate it," she said. "I know that Im a mess sometimes, and its okay to be a mess. Its okay to cry. Its okay to scream. Its okay to be angry. Its okay to go through a thousand different emotions."

While Megan may not be "perfect," she's perfect just the way she is.
