A despute over a 25 year old lady’s choice of husband turned tragic after she was attacked with crude weapons and beaten to death over her plans to marry the ‘wrong guy’.

Reports indicate that Susan Awino Omolo’s met her death after his brother in law Elijah Agutu Ogutu beat her to death over her plans to marry a neighbour’s son against his wishes of her brother in law.
On the fateful day, Agutu ponced on his sister in law after he found her on phone with her fiancée, raining kicks and blows on her and descending on her with a crude weapon, killing her on the spot.
The assailan then turned his anger on his wife Eunice Agutu who he suspected was in support of the union, leaving her with serious injuries.

The suspect has since been arrested and is in police custody, awaiting to be arraigned in court on Monday with police launching investigations into the incident.
She was rushed to Madiany sub-county hospital where she is currently admitted.
Rarieda Sub-County Police boss Thomas Sangut confirmed the incident saying the assailant was arrested and locked up at Aram police station.
The body of the deceased was moved to Madiany sub-county hospital mortuary to await postmortem with police launching investigations into the murder.
