Police have launched a manhunt for three armed robbers who stormed into a shop in Kisumu City and made away with Ksh1 Million in cash.

Reports indicate that the three armed men who arrived on a motorbike made their way into Kavirondo Fishnets Sundry and Hardware limited near New Victoria Hotel, brandishing guns at customers and attendants before collecting their loot.

According to a police report on the daring daylight robbery, the gangsters wore helmets, making it almost impossible for them to be identified from the CCTV footage at the scene of crime.

They then escaped on a stand-by motorbike leaving behind terrified customers and attendants.

Police sources have confirmed that several police units have been mobilized to hunt down the criminals and bring them to justice.
