Ruto, who is known to be an ardent church-goer and a former Christian Union Chairman back in his university days, only took seconds to locate the main bible verse of the day during the service.

However, President Kenyatta and Moi who sat on either sides of Ruto, appeared to struggle to find the verse.

The President was the first to identify the verse but Moi was seen struggling hard to locate the bible verse as the pastor continued to read out from the scriptures.

Moi appeared glancing at Ruto’s bible as he continued in vain to find the verse for close to a minute before the Deputy President seeing his apparent struggle came to his rescue and helped him locate the bible verse.

The Baringo Senator is on record saying that he will vie for the Presidency in 2022, a move that has put him in a direct collision course with Ruto, who has already declared he will also vie for the highest seat in the land after President Kenyatta completes his term.
