A Chinese company on Friday shocked Kenyans after it donated beer to hunger stricken residents in Tiaty Sub-County, Baringo County.

The company identified as Chuanshan international mining company donated 20 cartons of Chinese made beer known as Tsingtao.

The director of the firm Han Ke stated that they gave out the beer after they realized that the locals loved alcohol.

“Locals in this area love liqour and I saw it fit to include it as part of food donation to the hunger ravaged villages," remarked Ke.

Aside from the liquor, the mining company donated 300 bags of maize and 20 cartons of cooking oil.
