A Nakuru Court on Monday order private hearings for the defilement suit involving the daughter of Water CS Simon Chelugui.

Chelugui's Personal Assistant (PA) Reuben Kiborek is accused of engaging in a sexual act with the 16-year-old daughter of the CS at a popular Nakuru hotel in late December 2018.

The court obliged to Chelugui's request to have the proceedings away from public light due to alleged trauma.

Kiborek Charged in Court

Kiborek was arraigned in court to answer to the charges where he pleaded not guilty.

"Reuben kiborek, on the 23rd day of December 2018 at Sarova woodlands Hotel in Nakuru East within Nakuru county, intentionally and unlawfully caused your male genital organ namely PENIS to penetrate the Vagina of ***** a child aged 16 years," the charge sheet read in part.

He was released on a bond of Sh300,000.
