PSCU Director Dennis Itumbi has broken silence on alleged plans to run for the Gichugu parliamentary seat in 2022.

Itumbi spoke on the matter on his Facebook column where he had a platform to respond to all manner of questions from his followers.
On 2022, plans, he was noncommittal, but promised to listen to the voice of constituents come 2022.
“There is a sitting MP am handing him all the support I can. Let’s build and develop the constituency. When 2022 comes, we will listen to wanachi,” Itumbi said.
William Ruto
He was also questioned on the relations between Deputy President William Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta and on which side he was in the alleged split between the two.
The PSCU director said Ruto and Kenyatta had a perfect working relationship and that he continued to work for the two of them as he had done since 2013.
The former State House insider confirmed that he was no longer running the President’s social media platforms when he complained that Kenyatta’s handlers had failed to publish photos of the head of state having lunch with the DP in Mombasa.
