Joho has said that he will do this on June 27 when Kenyatta will be in Mombasa during the launch of the MV Jambo ferry.

Acccording to The Star, the President is scheduled to launch the ferry at Likoni but Joho said he will simultaneously hold a parallel rally in Kisauni, Mombasa.

Joho said during the Kisauni rally, he will reply "the lies Uhuru will be telling Likoni residents".

"I will put my person there who will be streaming live and will be able to capture what Uhuru says," Joho told the media on Friday.

Joho claimed he will not attend the ferry launch in Likoni as he did not want to be blocked by the General Service Unit security officers again.

"They can decide who ever will attend or be blocked. But they won't see me there. I will hold a political rally in Kisauni and Mombasa and will be told the truth," he said.

Joho has been involved in a series of confrontations with President Uhuru Kenyatta on matters affecting the coastal people.

Last month, Joho was blocked by security officers from attending the grand launch of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) in Miritini, Mombasa.

In March, Joho was stopped by security officers from attending President Uhuru Kenyatta's launch of Mtongwe Ferry services.

The President later said that he was not Joho’s wife for him to be constantly following him around whenever he is at the Coast.
