This is after ODM secretary general Agnes Zani said that a report which had been leaked earlier indicating Odinga was the coalition presidential candidate was accurate.

"The report was leaked in the form the media presented. A few aspects and figures were not those of the committee but the line-up presented had been agreed on," Zani stated.

The former vice President together with ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi now wants Zani to withdraw her statement.

“ODM Secretary General  must publicly withdraw remarks she made; no deal has been reached on NASA flag-bearer,” the Wiper party leader stated.

Kalonzo also added that the they had not reached an agreement on who would be the presidential cnadiadte of NASA.

“We’ve not agreed on NASA flag-bearer; anyone issuing statement of a lineup is making personal statements… Nothing is agreed until it is agreed; we don't want divisions,” the wiper leader said.

He surprisingly claimed that that their were some individuals within NASA who were causing chaos among the affiliate parties.

Musyoka sated that a report was being prepared adding that they would soon name the candidate to face President Uhuru Kenyatta in the upcoming polls.

"This NASA flag bearer issue will not persist for another month, I assure you. Reports are being prepared and we will take a decision later on the issue," he said.

ODM’s announcement has split the affiliate parties in the coalition with some accusing the Orange party of leaking sensitive matters to the media.
