Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has now withdrawn his support for Narc Kenya leader Charity Ngilu in the Kitui gubernatorial race and opted to back incumbent Julius Malombe.
Speaking during a meet-the-people tour in his Kitui backyard, the Kalonoz told his supporters that it would be embarrassing if a member of any other party won the seat in the upcoming Genera Election.
“It will be comical if my party candidates will not win in their respective seats in my own political base. It will appear like being at the top while putting on a trouser without suruali ya ndani!,” Kalonzo said to surprising the gathering.
The former Vice President also warned President Uhuru Kenyatta that his recent visit to the region would not bear fruits on grounds that Ukambani people were firmly behind NASA.
“Jubilee should know that the homeowner is back. I do not want political romances in my region, especially in Kitui,” the Wiper leader affirmed.
Kalonzo's sentiments have now dealt Ngilu a major blow, who had agreed to back NASA and in return, Raila Odinga's running mate would back his bid for the Kitui top seat.

It now remains to be seen whether Ngilu will still support NASA or pull a similar move as Kalonzo, who had earlier demanded that she dissolve her party and join Wiper.
