Former TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo has denied claims that he was a mole for opposition leader Raila Odinga during his time in Jubilee.
According to the story, Oloo said he had gathered all the tactics that Jubilee used in the 2013 elections to lock out Mr Odinga from presidency.
The remarks were reportedly made on Wednesday as he campaigned for his bid for Kisumu Central MP.
But now Oloo said the reports in the local daily are untrue and regrettable.
Oloo told The Star that he was not a mole and “will never be a mole anywhere".
“I am shocked at the story and I don’t know where such reports emerged from. I don’t know if such story is meant to antagonise me,” he said.
But he said being in the government and having worked as the secretary general of a party that formed the government helped him a lot politically.
Allies turned foes
In one of the most notable about turns in recent political history, Oloo last month decamped from the Jubilee Party to Raila’s ODM.
He sensationally claimed President Kenyatta did not win the 2013 General Election but rigged his way to power drawing harsh criticism from his former allies.
Former TNA chairman and Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant, Johnson Sakaja, accused Oloo of spreading false information about the party and the victory of President Kenyatta in the 2013 General Election.
Oloo accused Jubilee Party of sidelining him when the party back folded up last year and said he did not think any of the parties that merged into President Uhuru Kenyatta's ruling coalition will ever take part in any activities.
