Uhuru is a liar, Joho now tables evidence showing what Mombasa county actually received

On Sunday while speaking at Tononoka grounds, president Uhuru Kenyatta lambaste the governor for being ‘all talk and no action’ and added there was nothing to show for over Sh40 billion released to the ODM led county by the national government.

On Sunday while speaking at Tononoka grounds, president Uhuru Kenyatta lambaste the governor for being ‘all talk and no action’ and added there is nothing to show for over Sh40 billion released to the ODM led county by the national government.

"Tell the residents what you have done with the over Sh40 billion transferred  to Mombasa county that's  enough!  There is no need of you going rounds everyday insulting the president and the deputy president thinking you would be seen as the sultan of Mombasa" Uhuru told Joho.

Attempts by Joho to attend the launch of Mtogwe ferry where he had hoped to speak his mind and lay bare the ‘utter lies’ peddled by the Jubilee administration come to an abrupt end, after he was dramatically arrested by hawk eyed GSU officers who blocked him and later placed him under office arrest.

In a bid to clear his name as a lazy and media hungry governor, the sultan of Mombasa yesterday uploaded a copy of a letter from the ministry of treasury detailing the real amount his county received from the national government which is Sh6 billion and not Sh40 Billion as claimed by President Uhuru.

“For some time now Jubilee has been claiming that Turkana county received 50bilion from the national government, we challenge the Jubilee regime to provide this data, in Mombasa they claimed the county government has so far received 40 billion we challenge the government to provide evidence of the same, no more utter lies” ODM chairman, John Mbadi told the media at the press release.

Joho in his characteristic style of shooting from the hip has now called on the national government to release the purported balance of Sh40 billion which is Sh23.6 Billion.
