FC Bayern Munich's special message to Kenyans ahead of New Year

FC Bayern Munich's surprise message to Kenyans

Through their official Facebook account, the club appreciated their fans based in Kenya for their support in the year 2017.

The post read “Dear FC Bayern fans in Kenya, thank you very much for your great support in 2017! ”

A number of excited Facebook users responded to the message with some taking the opportunity to invite the club to tour the country.

This is the second time that the successful club is reaching out to the nation.

On 12 December during the Jamhuri day celebrations, the Bundesliga champions wished Kenyans a happy Jamhuri day.

FC Bayern Munich is one of the most successful clubs in the world, having won the Bundesliga 24 times and is on course to retain the trophy.

It has also caped its success with 5 UEFA Champions League trophies with the last one in 2012-2013.
