Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was on Sunday caught on video slapping a man.

The Governor had visited Madiwa estate in Eastleigh where a private developer had demolished some buildings.

A man was heard telling Sonko that the man they had captured had attempted to escape.

A couple of men, suspected to have been in the company of the governor, frogmarched the man to Sonko who then processed to slap him. The identity of the man is yet to be established.

"This evening I visited Madiwa area in Eastleigh where a private developer illegally demolished some buildings. My administration will not condone acts of injustice like this," Sonko posted on his social media pages.
