Junior hit back at Alai, who has been a harsh critic of the Odinga, saying he ought to use his Head of State Commendation (HSC) to get leniency.
“Kindly proclaim title HSC, might invoke leniency,” Junior tweeted.
The blogger was controversially awarded a Head of State Commendation (HSC) in 2017 after supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.
On Tuesday, Alai was arrested by Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU) officers for publishing a photo of security officers killed in a terror attack in Wajir.
Kitui prison guard Patrick Safari was on Wednesday morning arrested by the same unit for allegedly supplying the photo used by Alai.
ATPU has requested the court to allow them to detain both Alai and Safari for thirty more days to conclude their investigation.
In an unprecedented move, the state opted to charge the two of conspiracy to commit a terrorist act, being members of the Al-shabab militia group and providing service and property to commit terror related activities.
