Junet Mohamed’s cousin Abdalla Mohamed Dahir among those killed at Dusit Hotel

Suna West MP Junet Mohamed’s cousin is among those the 14 people who lost their lives at the Westgate terror attack.

Mohamed joined other Kenyans in mourning the victim of the brutal attack committed by militia group Alshabaab.

The MP, himself a Muslim, condemned the Alshaabab’s heinous crimes terming it as an against the teachings of Islam.

I lost my cousin Feisal Ahmed Rashid to yesterday’s attack at Dusit Hotel and his Friend Abdalla Mohamed Dahir as they were having Lunch at the restaurant. “People who call themselves Muslims killing other Muslims. “ My condolences to all Kenyans who lost their lives,” the MP tweeted as Kenyans joined him in mourning his cousin.

James Odu

Media personality Larry Madowo also lost a close friend, James Odu, who was among the first people to tweet about the attack at the Dusit complex.

"My friend from university was killed on the eve of his birthday. This was his last tweet. He was one of the nicest, happiest people I’ve ever met. Rest well, Odu, nind maber. The world is better because you lived, “ Madowo posted.
