Kenya Navy divers have retrieved the the body of a man whose car plunged into the Indian Ocean at 4:20am Saturday.
The vehicle, which was 6 meters deep in the sea, has been identified as that of John Mutinda, who died after allegedly driving the car right into the Indian Ocean at 4:20am Saturday.
Mutinda’s body was taken to Coast General Referral Hospital morgue, the mangled wreck of his vehicle was towed to Likoni Police Station.

The Kenya Ferry Services said the man, who was heading to Mombasa Island from Kwale side, drove at a high speed straight to the ramp, ignoring calls by the ramp controllers to stop.
