Preliminary results by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has revealed that 25 aspiring Governors vying on a Jubilee ticket are leading country wide.
Here is the list:
1. Baringo County - Stanley K Kiptis has 126,184 votes.
2. Bomet County – Joyce Laboso has 173,733 votes
3. Elgeyo Marakwet County – Alex Tanui has 84,971 votes
4. Embu County – Martin Wambora has 88,993 votes
5. Garissa County – Ali Korane has 43, 006 votes
6. Kajiado County – Joseph Ole Lenku has 161,398 votes.
7. Kericho County – Paul Chepkwony has 274,635 votes.
8. Kiambu County – Ferdinand Waititu has 721,217 votes.
9. Kirinyaga County – Anne Waiguru has 152,755 votes
10. Kwale County – Salim Mvurya has 101,927 votes
11. Mandera County - Ali Roba has 49,160 votes
12. Marsabit county – Mohamud Mohamed has 52,098 votes.
13. Meru County – Kiraitu Murungi has 256,037 votes.
14. Murang’a County – Wa-Iria Mwangi has 339,744 votes.
15. Nairobi County – Mike Sonko has 809,795 votes.
16. Nakuru County – Lee Kinyanjui has 587,799 votes
17. Nandi County – Stephen Kipyego has 236,335 votes
18. Narok County – Samuel Tunai has 132,896 votes
