Nazlin finally speaks

Former Presidential candidate Nazlin Umar has finally broken her silence after her alleged love affair with National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale hit the headlines.

The two were the talk of the town on Friday after a private phone recording landed in the hands of the Nairobian paper.

According to the conversation, Mr. Duale and Ms. Nazlin have been in a relationship for three years but were experiencing some turmoil.

Speaking to Pulse Live Kenya Nazlin stated that she was not aware where Nairobian acquired the audio clip from. However, she did not deny the authenticity of the conversation as recorded by the local paper.

“I cannot say that the audio clip is a lie,” Ms. Nazlin told Pulse Live Kenya in a phone interview.

The businesswoman highlighted that she did not know where the local paper acquired the clip from.

Nazlin, who shied from acknowledging about her love affair with Mr. Duale, divulged that she was stunned when she saw the article.

“That is a very private and intimate issue. I was shocked when I saw the story. Duale and I are still healing please give us time to heal,” Nazlin said.
