Confusion rocked the Anti-corruption court on Monday morning after critical evidence went missing in a case where Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji has charged senior Kenya Power officials with corruption.
The DPP had planned to use a report prepared by the Energy Regulatory Commission on Kenya Power faulty transformers.
However, when the trial started on Monday morning, prosecutor Alexander Muteti told the court that the document had gone missing.
The DPP has since ordered an investigation on the whereabouts of the report which he said was supposed to be in the custody of Kenya Power.
