A temporary order stopping the implementation of the 16-percent VAT on petroleum products was on Thursday issued by a high court in Bungoma County.
The ruling was made following a petition filed by a group of youth challenging the levy, which has caused fuel shortage across the country.
The case is set to be heard on September 12, 2018.
