She was accused of bombing a Police Station in 2016.

In September 2015, detectives started probing reports that Mrs Hania was funding terrorism activities in the country.

She was equally in 2016 charged with failing to disclose information that could have prevented the terror attack on the Central Police Station in Mombasa County.

Hania Said Sagar denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Diana Mochache.

The BBC Africa Live in 2016 reported that prosecutors had applied for Hania Saga Rogo, the widow of a murdered Muslim cleric, to remain in custody for 14 days as they investigate her alleged links with a recent attack in Mombasa.

The Court was told then that Mrs Rogo was arrested for having direct connections with one of the three women killed when they attacked a police station on Sunday.

The court heard that her phone had been taken for forensic examination and she was being investigated for the offence of collecting funds for the benefit of people involved in organising acts of terror.
