Jamhuri High School Students Stabbed After Fierce Fight

The fight broke out at night

According to a report by Daily Nation, the students are admitted in hospitals nursing stab wounds.

It is alleged that the fight broke out after some of the students felt that they were sidelined over religion and that Muslim students were forcefully trying to convert Christian students into their Islam faith.

Jamhuri high school Principal, Fred Awuor also suffered a series of injuries during the night fight between students where 35 students are reported injured.

According to Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome who visited the school, police have launched investigations into the night incident as they hold talks with the school's administration over the same.

It is however, not clear how a section of the students managed to get the knives and other objects used to stab others into the school.
