The legislator had requested the Banks to employee at least 10 people from his constituency before they can transact business.
“For me to open Embakasi east CDF account with any bank in Kenya or proceed with the existing account, the bank must provide employment opportunities to at least 10 residents of Embakasi East. If the above Condition is not met the bank should forget business from us.DO ME I DO YOU.” Shared Babu Owino
After a few hours, Babu confirmed that four banks had adhered to his “Irreducible Mininums” and they were ready to do business with his constituency. The move by the four Banks left Babu Owino confused and spoilt of choices.

He added that he is in need of CV’s for people who have the qualifications of working in a bank environment.
“The following banks contacted me today and have agreed to employ residents of Embakasi east.Coop bank,CBA,KCB and Equity bank. Embakasi east residents love you.Need cvs” Added Babu Owino
Mr Owino is among the young parliamentarians who were elected during the August General Elections.
