Is Betty Kyallo leaving KTN? She responds

Replying to one of her concerned fans on Twitter, Ms. Kyallo dismissed the reports noting that she was still at the former President Daniel Moi-owned TV station.

"Show tunayo ama umehama ?" Joseph Mudema wanted to know I Betty will be hosting her Friday briefing show.

In response, she said: "Tunayo."

Reports of her exit were first published on Business Today. A source privy to the matter divulged to Pulselive.co.ke that the screen siren had been offered a lucrative deal by K24 TV.

However, the Standard Group is said to have tabled a counter offer.

This comes at a time when media houses have been rampantly poaching journalists from rival companies.

Nation Media Group (NMG) has been greatly affected by this recent trend as it lost some of their crème de la crème including Larry Madowo, Victoria Rubadiri, Rashid Abdalla, Nimrod Taabu, Najma Ismail, Linus Kaikai among others.

On the other hand KTN lost, Managing Editor Joe Ageyo, news anchors Yvonne Okwara, Mashirima Kapombe, and Asha Mwilu.
