2 dead, several injured in Narok disaster

This comes days after the Narok-Mai mahiu road de-linked due to heavy rains

According to Citizen, the two children aged between 6-8 years old suffocated to death.

Melelo ward MCA Philemon Aruasa said more than 10 families had been displaced and are in dire need of emergency services.

According to Oleshapani location Chief James Kerorei, plans are underway to evacuate the affected families.

Just recently heavy rains and floodwaters completely cut off the busy Nairobi-Narok Highway at Mai Mahiu area making the section completely impassable after the road was de-linked.
