Murangâa Governor Mwangi Wa Iria and Senator Irungu Kangata are offering free transport to all voters who live in Nairobi but are registered to vote in Murangâa County.
According to the Murangâa Senator, the free transport will roll out on October 26 targeting more than 50, 000 Voters who live in Nairobi.
The cars ferrying voters to Murangâa will leave Nairobi at 5am and will offer the services until 2 pm to enable them participate in the repeat polls.
He added that the program is aimed at initiating 100 per cent voter turnout in Murangâa county to ensure Uhuru Kenyatta.
â I Â was very much aggrieved by the Supreme Court ruling and to express my anger I will use my resources to provide transport for the residents who did not participate an August 8 general Election so that the Judges who nullified our win that we are tired of Raila Odingaâ said Irungu Kangata who spoke to Nairobi News
The senator added that he will be in town to ensure that the free transport is offered to his people.
âBy 5am I will be standing at Koinange stage in Nairobi where I will be paying all the passengers who will be travelling to Murangâa. Only passengers with ID cards will be offered the transport.â Said Irungu.
During the August election 70, 000 voters did not turn out to vote, while NASAÂ got 10, 000 votes.
