A train has been involved in an early morning accident at Mutindwa area in Nairobi.
The accident involved a Toyota Wish and according to witnesses, the driver managed to escape.
No casualties have been reported.

The witnesses said that they tried to stop the driver of the car, but their calls fell on dead ears and that is when the train hit the front part of the Toyota Wish.
The driver and one other person escaped unhurt.
Confirming incident, Railways OCPD Esther Chacha said there was traffic snarl-up as the train approached the Mutindwa railway crossing and the vehicle was in the middle of the railway line.
“The two were not injured because they managed to jump as the train approached. The train hit the vehicle and dragged it a few meters,” said Chacha.
