Amina Mohamed and Mwangi Kiunjuri's move after Uhuru failed to nominate them 

According to a report by the Nation, Devolution CS Mr Mwangi Kiunjuri and Foreign Affairs CS Ms Amina Mohamed reported to work on Monday and were busy with meetings.

Others who resumed duties include Prof Jacob Kaimenyi (Lands), Dr Cleopa Mailu (Health),  Mr Willy Bett (Agriculture), Mr Eugene Wamalwa (Water) and Ms Sicily Kariuki (Public Service).

"Morning briefing with my team on the delivery of government's renewed Agenda around the big four," she tweeted.

Despite resuming duties, the fate of the CSs hangs in the balance as they wait to see whether they President will retain them in his Government.

Manoah Esipisu

State House Spokesman Manoah Esipisu urged those who were left out to remain in office until advised otherwise.

In the first line up, the President only retained 6 of his Css who includeHenry Rotich (Treasury), Fred Matiang'i (Interior Coordination and acting Ministry of Education ), Najib Balala (Tourism), Joe Mucheru (ICT) and James Macharia (Transport and Infrastructure).

Other who were nominated with no specific portfolios are: John Munyes, Ukur Yatani and Keriako Tobiko.  Kenyatta promised to name the full line up of his cabinet in the coming weeks.
