None of my competitors can put together 140 MPs - DP Ruto

Not even Baba (Raila Odinga) can-DP Ruto

DP William Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto has said that none of his competitors can bring together many Members of Parliament, like he can.

While speaking on Jalango TV, the DP said that his competitors cannot put together 140 MPs and the closest is former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, and he can only do 80 MPs.

"Yesterday, I met here with 140 MPs. They are elected leaders by the people of Kenya. None of these competitors of mine, whether it is Baba, he cannot put together 140 MPs. Maybe he can try 80. My good friend the leader of ANC at best he can try 12. My friend Wiper maybe he can try 19 or 20, the good man from Bungoma with his Ford Kenya maybe he can try 8,9 or 10," said William Ruto.

His words were in response to a question from Jalang'o on why he has chosen to be a lone ranger, while other politicians are busy forming coalitions ahead of the 2022 general elections.
